Hey now, we’ve got All-Stars

All Stars. The best of the best.

The NHL’s got ’em. Good ones. The names make your head spin. The line combos make you smile. The goals – ridiculous. The players – loose and laughing. The point – entertainment.

All Stars. The best of the best.

Minnesota’s got ’em. Good ones. The names are up-and-coming and rich in family history. The line combos are previews of what’s to come. The goals – hard fought. The players – young and futuristic. The point – recognizing achievements.

The NHL puts on a big show.

Players are nominated, requested, demanded. Players gather. To play. Together. With teammates and linemates. Former and future. To play. Against.  Their teammates. Former and future.

The NHL’s got the Stanley Cup.

Minnesota’s got the State Hockey Tournament.

The NHL’s got All Star weekend.

Minnesota’s got Selects Hockey.

And just like the All Star weekend, the Minnesota Selects Hockey Tournament is a big deal.

And the players in it are a big deal to us. To Minnesotan’s.

But someday, they’ll be a big deal to you. To D1 college fans. To NHL fans. Because their just getting started. Their just putting the finishing touches on their high school careers. Before we watch them go into the world – the world of hockey – we let them show off what Minnesota made them.

All Stars.
